Sometimes anxiety symptoms may be specifically related to the pregnancy. Often, anxiety symptoms during pregnancy can be dismissed as "just the pregnancy hormones" which may leave parents feeling alone.
These anxiety feelings may include:
-
fears and anxiety related to childbirth,
-
worries and anxiety about the health of the baby,
-
worries and anxiety about changes in relationships,
-
adjustment to pregnancy
-
as well as concerns about body changes during pregnancy.

Seeing a perinatal psychologist can be helpful to be able to explore these concerns and know that you are not alone.
