Hayley is a Registered Psychologist with a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and has been working with women, children and families, since 2001.
Her approach is compassionate, gentle and non-judgmental, with an occasional touch of humour. She has an empathetic nature and believes it’s a privilege to help her clients journey towards mental wellbeing, healing and resilience.
Hayley believes in the importance of considering each client’s particular strengths and struggles, in order to tailor an intervention that best suits their needs.
She draws on her knowledge of attachment theory, trauma informed therapy modalities, developmental stages across the lifespan and the complex interaction between mind and body, when considering how to best support her clients.
Hayley is trained in Circle of Security parenting work, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness practices.
